Firefighters and firefighting helicopters struggled to put out a massive blaze atop an under-construction skyscraper in Moscow on Monday.
According to Russian news agency Itar-Tass, the fire spread quickly because of strong winds at the top floors of the eastern tower in the Federation Tower complex.
?The area affected by the fire has exceed 300 square meters (3,229 square feet),? Major-General Sergei Anikeyev, deputy head of the city's emergency department, told the news agency.
?The 14 people who were at the top floors when the fire started have been evacuated. No one was hurt,? he told Itar-Tass.

The top floor is nearly completely ablaze, RT.com reported. The image boards on the skyscraper?s walls had also caught fire, threatening neighboring buildings. Helicopters could be seen dumping water on the building.
The fire broke on the building's 67th floor, but the cause of the fire was not immediately determined. According to RT, the flames can be seen from as far as six miles away.
When completed, the tower will be 1,150 feet tall.
