Woman sues Neiman's for fraud in love triangle

(AP) ? A Dallas woman who has found Neiman Marcus' generous return policy lacking has filed a suit claiming fraud against the luxury retailer.

Patricia Walker sued after unsuccessfully trying to return about $1.4 million worth of jewelry, clothes and other items purchased from an employee she claims was having an affair with her now ex-husband.

Walker's lawsuit claims that the employee ? her trusted, longtime personal shopper ? received a hefty commission from the sales. It also alleges the store knew about the illicit arrangement but did nothing to stop it.

A Neiman Marcus spokeswoman declined comment Thursday.

Walker's attorney, Mark Ticer, says Walker's husband charged the items to her account without her knowledge.

Walker's ex-husband and the personal shopper did not immediately return calls to The Associated Press.
