Micromax Funbook P600 3G Tablet with Voice Calling Goes on Sale in India

Indian company Micromax has just released a new Android tablet in India, the Funbook P600. The slate is now available for purchase for only Rs 9,499 outirght, which is about $175 or ?130.

The main selling points of the tablet are 3G connectivity and support for voice calling. Hardware-wise, Funbook P600 packs a 1GHz dual-core processor, which is complemented by 512MB of RAM and 2GB of internal memory.

Users can further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD memory card. The slate also sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

It is also worth mentioning Micromax Funbook P600 ships with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box. However, as AndroidOS points out, the tablet does not appear to have Bluetooth and GPS. Check it out here.
