If you are in the market for a good mp3 player with our favorite Andy logo branded on it, then today, you will find a nice little deal available to you straight from our friends at Walmart. While they are definitely nothing new to the market, the Samsung Galaxy Player variants were essentially the answer to Apple?s iPod Touch series, but they boasted a more appealing platform with screen size options and Android installed, which?automatically?meant rooting would be involved.
If you want one, but aren?t necessarily open to the $200+ price tags that come along with them on Samsung.com and Amazon, then go ahead and take a look at Walmart.com, who is selling them, Walmart refurbished, for sub $150 prices. That?s something you can?t give up!

Now for the 4.2 and 3.6, those are the only specifications they had listed on the Walmart page, but I am sure that they are similar in some form or fashion. Seeing as how Apple wants $179.99 for a Refurbished iPod Touch 4th Generation (looks like the iPhone 4/4S for those that don?t know), the fact that the price is so low AND you have options on screen size is something that you cannot look past. The only catch 22 is that I?m sure that 4th Gen iPods will in fact see iOS7, while there are no hopes of seeing 4.0+ on the Samsung Galaxy Player in true Android fashion. I looked on XDA for ICS/JB ROM alternatives, but ALL of them had none-working cameras, whether it be the FFC or rear, ?sometimes both. Regardless, GB Touchwiz actually was very smooth, just don?t look too forward to playing NBA 2K13 on the 5.0 without sacrificing something on the hardware side.
With all that in consideration, if you are interested, please use the links in each of the descriptions of one of the Samsung Galaxy Player variants in order to choose which one best suits your needs, then tell us how you like it if you bought one. Also, don?t be scared away by the ?refurb? tag, every review on Walmart.com said that the players looked like they were fresh off the production line.
